Privacy
Your information should remain useful, controlled and secure.
This page explains the current planning experience. Formal controller details, retention periods and approved legal wording must be confirmed before launch.
What is collected
Information you provide in tools, enquiries and uploads, plus the journey reference used to connect those records.
Why it is used
To respond to your request, prepare relevant guidance, assess possible delivery routes and maintain a record of agreed next steps.
Access and sharing
Customer records are available only to authorised team members. GridSync, Amporah and delivery partners remain distinct services and receive information only where the project requires it and an appropriate basis exists.
Chatting with Max
When you chat with Max, your messages are processed by an AI service to answer you. If you are signed in, your conversation is saved to your account until you start a new chat. If the "Help Max learn" box is ticked, a separate anonymised summary (such as property type, rough age, heating and the topics you asked about) is kept to improve Max and understand what people need. Names, emails, phone numbers and full addresses are removed first, and only the first part of a postcode is kept. Untick the box at any time and that chat's summary is deleted. We also count anonymous usage, such as how often the chat is opened.
Your choices
You can ask the Max Energy team to explain, correct or remove information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.
